Breakfast in the zoo might be a common thing, but breakfast with Orangutan?
That would be one kind of an experience!. The first in Indonesia, Bali Zoo
launched a unique Breakfast with Orangutan experience. Now, guests are not only
able to enjoy breakfast like a king, but also with kings of the jungle:
Orangutans.. Head over to Gayo Restaurant at Kampung Sumatra, see the playful
orangutans play in the playground. Other fauna’s will also be joining the
hearty breakfast.
A scrumptious
breakfast is served during Breakfast with Orangutan. Start with assorted
tropical fruits or fruit juice, followed by freshly baked bread, and optional
choices of main course that ranged from Fried Rice, Buttermilk pancake, Classic
Cereals and more. Complete your morning with a cup of Balinese coffee or warm
English breakfast tea to compote a perfect ending to your breakfast quest.

guests are not only able to eat breakfast like a king, but also with some of
the kings in the jungle, the orangutans.
Your tour begins
when you are picked up from your accommodation around 7am and taken to the Bali
Zoo. Upon arrival, breathe in the fresh air of Gianyar, feel the breeze,
embrace the light morning fog, and hear the chirpy birds and other animals that
are just awaking.
The friendly staff
will guide guests to the Elephant View Restaurant. You will witness three to
four orangutans playing around in the playground area of the restaurant. Not
only being amused by the adorable orangutans, but the hearty breakfast is also
a specialty. It starts with assorted seasonal fruits and vegetable or fruit
juice, followed by fresh-baked bread that serve with butter and jam. Breakfast
ends with your chosen main course which may include Eggs Benedict, Homemade
Granola, Nasi Kuning or more. Don’t forget, a cup of Balinese kopi
tubruk or a warm English Breakfast tea will add to the perfect breakfast.
Although the
orangutans are the main charm of this experience, your tour also includes a
morning zoo tour with access to see all the animal shows that happen prior to
12pm. What better way to begin your morning other than seeing the adorable
animals that will make your day? At the end of your journey, you are encouraged
to make photos with the orangutans and other animals before the van takes you
back to your hotel.
